Moreton Bay Regional Council Business of the Year 2023

IntegratePHYSIO was named Moreton Bay Regional Council Business of the Year in recognition of exceptional customer service, business growth and innovation at the 2023 Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards on July 7.

The business, which was launched in 2014, is a musculoskeletal and sports injury outpatient service in Moreton Bay Region, with four clinics – Warner, Narangba, North Lakes and Annerley – as well as a new mobile service (Physio on Wheels) providing allied health care to clients in their own homes.

Principal and owner Sam Bhojwani is a successful musculoskeletal physiotherapist with more than 17 years’ experience.

He and wife Yamini founded IntegratePHYSIO to fulfil their vision of providing high quality, evidence-based and cost-effective care.

They aim to ‘empower patients to achieve their ultimate rehabilitation potential’.

The team does not have a one-size-fits all customer service approach, instead listening to clients, setting challenging rehabilitation goals, and helping patients achieve them.

IntegratePHYSIO also won the Moreton Daily Award for Customer Service Excellence.

“We (have) focused on a lot of our community clients, trying to give them the best, cost-effective service in the Moreton Bay Region,” Sam says.

“We are playing against the big players in the region and we have made sure the costs for our clients remain within reason. That is one of the main reasons we have done well in the last 12 months.

“What I tell all my team members is that the customer is always right, so always listen to the customer and if there is an issue, listen to them and try to resolve the situation.

Multi-award winners

Winning one award was a pleasant surprise, but taking out the top gong was something else.

“The whole team is over the moon. This is a massive, massive surprise … a massive accolade for us as a team,” Sam says.

“As a business, we are constantly trying to evolve and grow within the region. We want to remain one of the best businesses in the allied health industry, so we’ll continue to work towards that goal in the next five years.

“I can’t thank the team and my wife enough. We’ve had some very good mentors in the region – Mike Arieni from Solar Bollard Lighting … has been an amazing, inspiring mentor for me, personally.

“I really want to thank everyone in the region, especially Mike, for continuing to inspire us.”
